BANGKOK TRIP
31st July.
Took a cab to the airport, checked in and was ready to go.
I am sooo glad that I got the window seat, extremely glad...
11am, I was in the plane staring outside the window like a lil girl, feeling excited.
The plane starts to travel on land, and I saw a Malaysian airline, with words on the body of the plane.
'Now everyone can fly', and I secretly smiled to myself.
Knowing that, I'm flying, for the first time.
The plane took off with my favorite song playing on my ipod.
I told myself, this trip is gonna be an awesome one.
I swear I couldn't take my eyes off the beautiful scenery outside.
I spent like half an hour staring at the sky, feeling mesmerized by it.
After that, I fell asleep... 555
Reached Bangkok and after checking out is around 2.30pm.
We board a local cab and the uncle played a VCD for us.
The guitarists started to strum the strings, followed by the melody and singing of Hotel California.
Ha, it was so relatable man.
Reached First House Hotel and checked in!
The room was super cozy and comfortable, the staffs were super nice too.
The signage in the elevator looks funny at first, 'Elevators & Dumbwaiters.'
Came to realised that it means that an elevator used to convey food or other goods.
But you gotta admit, it really looks funny. 555
We rest in the hotel rooms for awhile and went around the area to shop for a lil.
Got my hair dyed, with a brand called Fantasy. It's awesome.
The dye smell nice, and I have whole lots of things included.
The dye (of course), gloves, hair cap, mixing container, comb, wax and hair serum.
Wtf righttt. The wax and hair serum smells fucking nice too.
1st August.
Booked Wanna, for the whole day! Cos we were going to two places.
First stop Maeklong Station!
The journey was 1 hour plus from our hotel.
So, manage to snap a few pictures of the scenery (;
And we reach Maeklong Station!!!
Wanna remembered the timing of the train arrival wrongly, so we didn't get to see the train..
It was a big disappointment because we practically woke up damn early...
So basically Maeklong Station is a market, on the train rails.
So when the train arrives 3 or 4 times daily, they will pull back their display grocery back.
And when the train leaves, they set back their store, and business as usual.
It's super cool. 555
So we went around the area, and found a pastry shop ^-^
Bought this cute chocolate muffin!
But it taste horrible... Hmmm.
So second stop to Floating Market!!!
Basically stores are being setup on water? LOL
So we were on the boat, and we arrive at different 'store' they will hook us over!
555, cos we are floating and unstable, so in order to stop right beside their store, they hook! LOL
They will keep persuade you to buy stuff from them, introduce you stuff.
And it's so awkward, that you will really buy stuff from them.
On of the stop is at a temple.
We went in to pray, and donated a small amount of money for them.
I donated for buying coffins and for the sick monks.
When the trip is gonna end, we bought this beehoon soup to eat on the way back.
It was awesome! I have no idea why thai food taste so nice...
On our way back, Wanna wanted to pump gas so we stopped by the gas station.
And guess what we found? This amazing pork stick, is fucking awesome.
After we bought 5, we bought another 10 sticks for our journey back.
It is damn awesome.
So Wanna stop us at the famous four face buddha there to let us pray.
When we arrived, there's this lady to offer us joss stick and flower for them, so we thought, why not?
4 sets of joss stick and flowers for 400 baht.(16 sgd)
We didn't think much, we got it, ready to go.
Than the lady offered to guide us around and teach us what to do.
She told us before hand, strictly praying, no wishing.
Because when you wish for something and it came, you have to go back and return.
So yeah, alright.
At each face of the buddha, she asked us to kneel down, pray.
When we stood up, she gave us the flowers, we placed it at the railing and paste the golden sticker on them.
So we repeated it four times, each time she got more and more rude.
Like 'kneel', 'put', 'paste', 'next'.
When we were done and about to leave.
That mother fucking bitch stopped us, and ask for guidance fee. WTF?!
She asked us to give her 500 baht(20 sgd) each, that's 2000baht(80 sgd) from all of us.
I didn't understood her at face, my friends told me after we left.
So she saw that we were unwillingly to pay, and said 500baht 2 person.
So we paid.
We paid a total of 2600 baht(104 sgd) to that motherfucking bitch.
Moral of the story, if you wanna go there to pray, just pray without offerings.
Even if you wanna buy some offerings, if someone offer to help you, reject them. -.-
She's gonna get karma for cheating at sucha holy place.
She's a fucking sinner. So much of being a believer.
So at night, we went to Chinatown!!!
Wanna told us that most of them can speak chinese, but the people we encountered don't. -.-
So, we stopped by and fill our stomach!
Chayan(milk tea) and this fucking amazing fishball noodle.
It is so fucking awesome. iwannamovetothailand.
We wanted to go to the night market but wanna strictly advised us not to go.
Because what they sell inside is almost repetitive, and if you don't purchase from them,
the gangsters will find trouble with you. So, we drove by instead.
And indeed, there seems to be a lot of gangster looking people hanging around the market.
2nd August.
It's shopping day!!!
We walked to Siam Paragon to check out the wax museum.
But we didn't go cos.... we weren't really interested. 555
Went to MBK, yes, it's a shopping mall. 555
Basically just shopped our day off.
And I bought a pair of Hello Kitty lenses, so cute!!!
3rd August.
We took their MRT to the weekend market!
Their train station distance is like Singapore's lrt distance.
555, pretty short traveling time though.
And their ticket is like 30 baht(1.2 sgd) only.
The weekend market is extremely huge.
It has a map yaknow? With different category like clothes, sculptures, and a lot more!
And they sell dogs there too!!!
I only managed to get one picture, because the lady was like 'no taking picture, 500 baht for picture'
So I'm like fine, I look with my eyes.
So we took a tut tut back to our hotel and pack up and leave...):
Wanna came to pick us up and send us to the airport.
I miss Bangkok so much.
I miss chayan.
I miss smoking likeaboss.
I miss spending money likeaboss.
I miss the awesome thai food.
I miss the seven eleven packet food.
I miss the fried potato balls.
I miss everything about Bangkok.
SO ANYONE WANNA GO BANGKOK TOGETHER? :/
I had lotsa fun.
A very memorable trip. x
